Sarah Palin: ‘No more pussyfooting around’ if Trump elected
Until then Palin had been a total unknown as the Governor of Alaska, running a snow-covered wasteland in the Arctic circle with a population smaller than the city of Leeds and a few huskies thrown in for good measure.
Campaigning Tuesday in New Hampshire, Cruz responded to Palin’s endorsement of Trump, saying “regardless of what Sarah intends to do in 2016, I will remain a big, big fan of Sarah Palin”.
One of those evangelicals is Nelson Montalvo, who lives in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
When police arrived they interviewed Track Palin, who “was uncooperative, belligerent and evasive” to questions.
Trump is in a close race in Iowa with fellow conservative Republican Ted Cruz.
The paleoconservative American Conservative magazine has been more favorable to Trump’s populist campaign, though most mainstream media outlets, and network anchors, and talk show hosts have tried to shut down Trump’s revolutionary campaign on behalf of their corporate masters.
“I’m ready to stump for Trump.” she told the crowd. And in another freaky moment, she gave a freakish metaphor that people in DC were fueled by “opium” – “other people’s money”.
“I don’t think she’d want to do it”, Trump said, although he added that he isn’t thinking that far ahead. The three appeared together at a rally on Capitol Hill in September, and Palin backed Cruz during his 2012 Senate campaign. “She’s got a lot of energy, I know that”. The former Republican vice-presidential candidate has succeeded in doing something which nobody had thought was possible.
She was folksy, and liked to suggest there were no fiercer fighters for conservative values than a small-town “hockey mom”. Though Track initially did not want to speak with police about the incident, he did at the urging of Sarah Palin, who was present; Bristol was also reportedly part of the brawl. However, The New York Daily News shared that Palin has many supporters in Iowa from the many political connections she’s developed with the state over the past years. Palin said. “You all make the world go around and now our cause is one”.
But he did say in an email that respect for the family’s privacy would be appreciated “as Track receives the help that he and many of our returning veterans need”. Palin said that Trump was a serious candidate who would put troops in place to “go kick ISIS’ ass”.
Trump also touted the significance of Palin’s endorsement. Several referenced what they saw as her poor performance as a vice presidential candidate.
Although Palin’s national clout has diminished since her last time on the presidential campaign trail, she remains a popular political icon on the right and her support marks a significant seal of approval as Trump seeks to woo conservative voters.
Trump thanked Palin for her support.
“I don’t think it’s going to be a detriment, but I don’t think it’s going to be a huge asset”, said Stephen Freese, 56, of Burlington, Iowa, who works in construction.
