Lance Bass and Michael Turchin Are Officially Married

It is official now, singer Lance Bass and his partner Michael Turchin have solemnised their marriage.

The couple took their vows at the posh Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, CA in the presence of family and friends like Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and JC Chasez. Kristin Chenoweth and JC even played exclusive role of singing for the happy couple’s first dance as a married couple. Close friends, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and JoAnna Garcia Swisher officiated the special day with Bass referring to it as “the easiest call of the whole wedding.”

Lance, recently, gave an insight into what the wedding day had in store. He had planned the entire wedding to be a very classy affair, something that would be remembered even after 100 years. He mused that he wanted his wedding to be memorable so that he could show his grandchildren videos of the wedding and they would remark on how it has “stood the test of time”. Lance revealed that one of the many elegant and classy elements of the wedding was the first dance, to a song that is very special to the couple and will last forever.

The former N-Syncer however did admit to the fact that he “borderlines tacky.”Lance said that he liked everything medieval and royal and grandiose and joked that it maybe because he is obsessed with Sir Lancelot and his name is “Lance” too. He instructed his guests to dress up very fashionably and over the top, and pretend they were attending a “royal wedding at the met ball” to set the right tone for the wedding.

The wedding colours the couple chose were “like dark reds and purples with pops of lime green.” Lance also let in that there was to be a special performance of “This I Promise You” at the reception by his young niece. The couple started going around in December 2011, and Lance proposed to Michael in September 2013. Here’s wishing the couple all the best for the future.
