Cinnamon Bun Oreos: What its latest, greatest flavor tastes like

There’s a new flavor of Oreo on the block and it brings a breakfast treat to your dessert table, the New York Daily News and Us Weekly reported.

The cookie giant announced the addition of the Cinnamon Bun Oreo, which joins a mouthwatering range of limited-edition flavors including Birthday Cake, Marshmallow Crispy and S’mores.

The Nabisco brand also re-released the popular Red Velvet variety, which launched past year around Valentine’s Day. Three months ago we learned that the new flavor was in the works. (Check out Oreo’s Wonder Vault promo below).

The Oreo cookie features cinnamon flavored cookies and frosting-flavored creme.

The verdict: Zagat senior editor Kelly Dobkin says it still has the Oreo cookie filling with a buttery tasting cookie, but food and lifestyle expert Chadwich Boyd said the taste was more reminiscent of pie crust. That’s not all: another new flavor will soon be announced on Oreo’s Wonder Vault YouTube page. They’re created to have a “fresh-from-the-oven” taste and cost $4.49, according to Eater.
