Amy Schumer denies joke stealing allegations
According to the Daily Mail, Liebman’s joke went: “Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I like it when the guy pays for sex”, while Schumer’s joke from her October 2015 HBO special was: “I’m very old school, I think the guy should always pay on the first date for sex”.
Taking to Twitter, Schumer vehemently denied the allegations, telling her 3.32 million followers: “On My life, I have never and would never steal a joke”.
That tweet has since been deleted, but comedian Chuck Martin told Liebman to talk to Pescatelli and Madigan about her frustrations. Be successful. WE want you to do well, just do it will your own material.
The video creator alleges Schumer took jokes from Kathleen Madigan, Wendy Liebman, Tammy Pescatelli, and the late Patrice O’Neal.

Schumer, who first shot to fame in 2007 after her Live at Gotham segment aired on Comedy Central, added that Pescatelli may have had a part in the scandal after she blocked her on Twitter.
“I would never do that”. “I’m literally gonna take a polygraph test and … show that I’ve never seen [those bits]”. Schumer, however, is persistent that she hadn’t “seen those jokes from those people”. Schumer said “both Kathleen and Wendy know me and they don’t believe I would do that”.
“I have to come up with so much material on my TV show, this movie, stand-up special and I’m so careful”, she expresses.
