McLean was arrested after police responded to a 911 call from his Camden, Maine residence, according to the Pilot. McLean will have to appear at the Knox County Unified Court on February 22.

McLean was fined $400 in 2013 for driving 43 miles per hour through a school zone when the speed limit was 15 miles per hour.
An apprehension affidavit was not getable Monday and it was not well-defined if McLean’s married woman, Patrisha, or 2 babies were at house at the time of his apprehension. That event, which is often referred to as “the day the music died”, earned the moniker from McLean’s song.
“I don’t feel good”, [his wife] Libby [Titus] told The Post when reached by phone. He’ll hit Southern California – La Mirada specifically – on March 5, then it’s off to Australia for 11 dates before he returns for USA shows in Virginia, New Jersey and MA.
McLean released the lengthy tune “American Pie” in 1971.
McLean’s original working manuscript was auctioned for $1.2 million past year. Details are as sketchy as his “American Pie” is iconic.
