American Airlines cancels all Saturday flights in DC, Philadelphia
United Airlines is providing helpful information to customers who are booked on flights disrupted by winter weather along the East Coast.
American Airlines, which has huge hubs in Phoenix and Charlotte, is canceling all Friday flights to and from Charlotte, spokesman Ross Feinstein said.
New York’s three airports will see all Saturday afternoon American flights canceled with flights resuming on Sunday. Flights are expected to resume Sunday at noon.

Spokeswoman Katie Cody said the airline will rebook customers as quickly as possible or refund their flights.
The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard watch for Washington, D.C., and Baltimore and is monitoring the possible impacts of the storm, which are expected to include heavy snow extending from Washington, D.C., to NY and Boston from Friday through Sunday.
American Airlines announced Thursday afternoon that it is canceling all flights to and from Philadelphia and Charlotte, effective immediately.
Delta is offering the policy on all canceled or heavily delayed flights scheduled from January 24-26.
No word a this time if Augusta Regional will cancel flights past Friday.
If you have flights planned, be sure to check with your airline as your flight may be canceled or rescheduled. They will also receive another communication if their flight is cancelled.
LGA/JFK/EWR: All American Eagle operations will be cancelled Saturday.
Martin says, “Los Angeles is our fourth largest city by passenger and it is our largest unserved city at this point except during the summer when Southwest Airlines flies it on a seasonal basis”.
The affected airports are in in Allentown, Baltimore, Boston, Hartford, Newark, Philadelphia, Providence, New York, Richmond, Roanoke, Washington, D.C. and beyond.
United Airlines’ updated travel waiver advisory now covers airports in more than 35 cities for ticketed travel from January 22 through January 24.
