Hermes Apple Watch Collection Will Be Available Online Friday
Apple is going to start selling the smartwatch it made in partnership with Hermes on its online store, starting on Friday, according to a report from Fashionista.
That should become clear when Apple makes these news official later this week.
As well as the custom watch straps, the Hermes Apple Watch also comes with a Hermes watch face which is only available on this version of the device. In fact one of the options included an Hermès band, thanks to a collaboration between the Cupertino company and the French fashion house.
Pricey, for sure, but cheaper than Apple’s own Watch Edition style, in rose gold or 18-karat gold, which ranges from $10,000 to $12,000. The traditional strap design comes in either fauve (brown) or noir (black) colors, with a Capucine (red) version available on the 38mm model.
The Cuff line is the most expensive, which costs $1,500.
The single loop and double loop Hermes Apple watches side-by-side. On sale since October a year ago, the collection has only been available at select Apple retail stores and Hermes’ luxury boutiques until now. This particular watch was created to appeal to customers who are in the higher class bracket, particularly those who look at watches as a status symbol they can sport.
