Holy cow! Runaway bovine corralled after escaping Queens slaughterhouse

Cow on the loose-Jamaica Queens.

Members of the department’s emergency services unit managed to rope the cow and bring it back to the slaughterhouse.

Various cell phone footage shows the cow running-almost skipping-in the streets, once again merging with mankind for a few moments longer before, well…you know.

“Yes, you heard right!” All Officers safe. No injuries.

A runaway cow escaped from a slaughterhouse in Jamaica, Queens this afternoon in a desperate attempt to avoid his bovine fate. “Thank you all for your patience”. The NYPD’s 103rd Precinct tweeted.

It took about 10 minutes for officers to get the cow, who traveled 30 yards from the slaughterhouse and into a parking garage, according to WPIX.

Before escaping captivity, the soon-to-be-dead cow was being held in Archer Halal Live Poultry and Meat Market.
