House panel wants to specify fetal tissue can’t be sold

“This is a consistent stance with where I have always been, where many others in this body have always been, and that is, we are going to protect life”, Kapenga said.
“Because I believe that begins at conception, and I believe that one of the cornerstones of the Declaration of Independence and what our Constitution is drafted around is the protection of life, I took an oath to uphold the Constitution”, Kapenga said.
House Bill 40, sponsored by House Judiciary Chairman Darryl Owens of Louisville, co-sponsored by myself and several others, would allow expungement of Class D felonies with input from all affected parties including any victims.
The State Senate passed bills aimed at fighting heroin, toughening drunk driving penalties, allowing blaze pink during hunting season and legalizing switchblades as well. That sent it to the House, where Democrats for years have killed bills seeking to restrict access to abortion.
“I think that contradiction throws the whole world of legalized abortion in America in a really stark way and it highlights that contrast between what some of our deepest values are about human dignity and human equality as people and ads Americans”, Daleiden said.
