Akshay-Nimrat Promote ‘Airlift’ At Air India Office

Airlift movie is based on the world’s biggest evacuation held during the Iraq-Kuwait war.

The Khiladi actor announced the news on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur’s Airlift is all set to hit the theatres today. Nimrat Kaur played the lead female role in the film and Feryna Wazheir, Inaamulhaq, Lena, Purab Kohli in other supporting roles. The film revolves around the efforts that were made to Indian commercial pilots who undertook 488 flights over 59 days to evacuate 1,70,000 Indians from Kuwait after it was invaded by Saddam Hussein. All of them had suddenly become moneyless and homeless. The team posted with the Art Collection book of Air India. Airlift film is an uplifting and entertaining edge-of-the-seat suspense thriller and is this story of the biggest ever human evacuation in the history of mankind. Will the film be as gripping and powerful as “Baby” and “Gabbar Is Back”? The characters, their relationships, interactions and transformations hold your attention, especially that of Ranjit and his relationship with Amrita.

Also up for release is the slapstick comedy Kya Kool Hai Hum 3 starring Tusshar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani, Mandana Karimi and Claudia Ciesla.
