Jeb Bush Enlists Family to Help Steady Campaign
Jeb Bush got ahead of his own campaign during a town hall Thursday night when he announced his mother, former First Lady Barbara Bush, has filmed a television ad that will begin airing soon in New Hampshire.
Already the extended Bush family has helped Jeb Bush raise money – lots of its.
“There’s no one running for president who’s had a brother that was president, a dad that was president, and I’ve seen how it’s done the right way and I’ve seen how it’s done the wrong way”, he told the crowd. Leaving aside the matter of the Bush name – though neither his 2016 opponents nor his 2016 supporters will – he last ran for political office back in 2002. The former Florida governor has embraced the title of being the “anti-Trump” in the race in an effort to coalesce voters around him who also want to knock the real estate titan out of his frontrunner status. Meanwhile, there are no firm plans in place to bring George W. Bush onto the campaign trail.
Later that day, in Keene, New Hampshire, Jeb Bush also cited his family for providing him with a “unique” and “front-row seat” to the presidency.
“I spend time talking about my family in a loving way”, Bush said.
Jeb Bush’s campaign is going nowhere, and that’s bad news for Jeb, but it’s good news for America. “I don’t think she was prepared to endorse anybody else, but it’s nice validation just in case people were wondering”.

“We need someone with a steady hand with proven leadership skills and the ability to go to Congress to get an authorization to use military force to rid this from the face of the earth”, Bush said. “The expectations on me are higher because of that, fine, you know who has higher expectations than the conventional wisdom? Me”.
