New Leaked Specs Confirms Samsung’s Chipsets For Galaxy S7 And S7 Edge
The leaked information reveals that the Galaxy S7 will come with the company’s own Exynos 8890 SoC (system on chip), while the Galaxy S7 Edge will be having a Qualcomm
Interestingly, AnTuTu’s leak also points to the inclusion of an Exynos 8890 processor, which suggests that Samsung will flog both Snapdragon- and Exynos-powered variants of the device. No matter which model each region gets, though, these two chipsets are expected to push the limit, and you shouldn’t be disappointed with either one once Samsung delivers the full unveiling.
The latest report on this claims that Samsung is in the process of testing such a feature out for possible inclusion in the Galaxy S7. Only the Galaxy S7 Edge+ is expected to match the iPhone, delivering the same 5.5-inch screen found in the iPhone 6s Plus.
According to Phone Arena, Samsung may be looking into merging their high-end smartphone lines with their cheaper alternatives with the S7. In any case take it with a grain of salt since it is possible that the devices are prototypes, but with a rumored launch in February, we’d like to think Samsung might have locked everything down by now.
