Wednesday’s weather: A break before more rain
“Look for an 80 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and some of those could be strong to possibly severe with damaging winds, large hail and even a few tornadoes”.
After record-setting warmth to start the winter, we in the Lehigh Valley could be forgiven for beginning to worry we might not see accumulating snow all winter.
This afternoon: Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of snow. But with most pavement temperatures holding in the 20s, snow should start sticking immediately once it begins, sometime between noon and 3 p.m. from southwest to northeast.
Tuesday: Partly sunny with a 30 percent chance of rain showers.
Triangle Today: Mostly cloudy with spotty showers. Wind S 15-20 miles per hour.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Snow showers are expected to linger, with an overnight low temperature of 24 degrees. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32.
TONIGHT: The frigid temperatures continue for tonight, with an overnight low temperature of 4 degrees, with mostly clear skies.
Saturday…Sunny. Highs in the upper 30s.

Lows Thursday night in the upper 20s and highs Friday in the lower 30s.
