Fallon to Rubio: ‘Do you like my boots?’

It can be easy to forget amidst all your groaning over Fifty Shades of Grey that Dakota Johnson is pretty delightful.

The pair took turns reading scenarios off of cards, then acting them out over the phone. Later in the show, Johnson said she hadn’t laughed till tears since filming her new movie, How to Be Single.

Dubbed “The Acting Game”, the segment features a classic acting exercise one may find in an average scene study or improv class. The rules are simple: act out a scenario through a fake telephone conversation. Her fiancé, Darth Vader, was calling to say he is leaving her for another woman.

Thankfully her second scenario, finding out she’s been rejected from clown college, doesn’t get interrupted.

“Hi babe”, Johnson greeted an imaginary Darth Vader as she answered the fake call. Dammit, Jimmy! You already have to bleep it. The damage is done, just let her finish! During the interview, Johnson introduces a new game to Fallon that involves a bright yellow phone and some imagination.

Getting into the spirit of the game, Johnson angrily said “Who the f**k?” pausing short after having realized that she just cursed on national television.
