Hundred Protest Flint Water Problems, Demand Governor Snyder Resignation
Snyder spoke about the long-term consequences of the crisis, saying the $28 million request won’t be the last budget request for Flint. Wednesday, Snyder plans to release all of his 2014 and 2015 emails regarding the Flint Water Crisis.
“No citizen of this great state should endure this kind of catastrophe”.
“We are praying for you, we are working hard for you, and we are absolutely committed to taking the right steps to effectively solving this crises”, Governor Snyder told the residents of Flint during his state of the state address before lawmakers at the state capitol in Lansing on Tuesday.
“You deserve better”, he told Flint residents.
“I think that we do need to know for sure what he knew and when he knew it, and it sounds like we may able to find that out in those emails. When did you know it. #flintwatercrisis”.
His words did little to quiet his critics.
The Governor of MI has apologized to the people of the city of Flint after exposing 100,000 if the city’s residents to lead poisoning in its water supply.
Attorney Cary McGehee said Tuesday the lawyers have set up a call center and 500 individuals-residents have so far registered to be part of this class action.

The announcement comes after the National Guard was deployed in the city to deliver bottled water door-to-door.
The Obama administration on Tuesday designated a point person to lead the federal response to a water crisis in a MI city.

As Michigan’s Governor Rick Snyder addressed a packed House floor, nearly a thousand protesters were chanting just outside. “It’s the truth. He poisoned us. Stuff is revealed that hasn’t been revealed”, he said.
The suits will detail government officials’ culpability and will provide a more detailed timeline than the previously filed federal lawsuit, Hood said.
