David Bowie cremated with ‘no friends or family present’
Van Hove described to NRC.nl that he saw Bowie for the last time at the premiere of Lazarus on December 7.

A source told the newspaper: “In many respects you don’t need a memorial or service to remember David by… you have his music instead”.

Van Hove says Bowie lived to complete Lazarus and Blackstar, which he did with the utmost integrity.
Two days before Bowie’s death, he released his 25th studio album, Blackstar.
After London and Paris, the Bowie exhibition is now running at the Groninger Museum in the Netherlands. “Everyone found out that David Bowie passed away yesterday-incredibly sad news”.
