Delhi Police bus tried to run over AAP leader Dilip Pandey?
In his “open letter”, Kejriwal urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to spare at least an hour every week for the law and order situation in the capital.
Reacting to Pandey’s allegation, Delhi Police chief BS Bassi stated, “In my complete profession I have by no means heard of such a factor”. The video footage related to has been given to them. “If they complain then there is no inquiry”.
Kejriwal, during an exclusive interview with India Today Group Consulting Editor Rajdeep Sardesai, was made to respond to a diverse set of questions ranging from his controversial TV ad campaign to his face-off with the Centre over the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) controversy.
We all know that CM Arvind Kejriwal’s voice can not be tamed or silenced! While the ruling party has accused the police of trying to mow down its leader Dilip Pandey, the Delhi Police has said that party is getting paranoid. “He is using his Gujarat model here…” What makes matters worse is the fact that even rapes and murders are being used to gain political points over the opponents. Kejriwal had on Saturday announced a compensation of ‘5 lakh to the family of a girl who was stabbed to death in Anand Parbat locality and ordered a magisterial probe into the case while slamming Delhi Police for the “deteriorating” law and order situation. It also happened in Vyapam in MP.
ACB comes under Delhi govt and according to Manish Sisodia a body of Delhi govt is also not taking complaint of Delhi govt’s other body.
While talking to Aaj Tak, Bassi cleared the air and said that no police officer should get affected by these issues. “The victim had earlier complained against the assailants, saying they stalked her. Police did not pay heed to her complaints, which led to her murder”, an AAP supporter said. We receive different types of complaints.
“Police is always accountable towards the system and not to any individual”.
After the attack on Pandey, the party said it will take the battle to the streets. This is not Gujarat…
“It is beyond comprehension that a crime has been perpetuated in the capital city despite prior complaints”, New Delhi Home Minister Satyendra Jain wrote in a letter to city police chief Bhim Sain Bassi late last Saturday.
