Mariah Carey engaged to Australian billionaire James Packer

Mariah Carey is engaged to marry her billionaire boyfriend James Packer, who she has been dating for less than a year.

According to TMZ, Packer popped the question after secretly gathering some of Carey’s close friends for a private dinner at Eleven Madison Park.

It’s been a while since we’ve had an over the top celebrity wedding where we get to openly gawk at the extravagance, so I’m extremely glad Mariah Carey will soon be providing us with one.

These two lovebirds have been on a non-stop romance ride since they started dating last June, even spending the holidays together in Aspen with their respective kids. “They have a connection that is unparalleled; it has been a very attractive experience for them both”.

The source added: “They are just very cute together, they like doing sweet things for one another”.

It should come as no surprise that Packer got down on one knee for the multi-Grammy Award victor.

The singer has two children with second husband, actor Nick Cannon, and was previously married to music industry executive Tommy Mottola.
