Got To Dance | Kimberly Wyatt Wins Celebrity Masterchef
“I wanted to create something for my little Willow to look up to”, she explained, becoming emotional, “and I think that’s what this (trophy) represents”.
Kimberly Wyatt has been crowned the victor of Celebrity Masterchef 2015.
Kimberly, a former dancer in the world’s biggest girl group, excelled when it came down to the crunch masterfully whipping up a chunky seafood soup, tender loin of lamb and her Sinatra cheesecake, affectionately titled because she did it “my way”.
Previous winners of Celebrity Masterchef have included Sophie Thompson, Lisa Faulkner and Ade Edmondson.
Judge John Torode said: “There’s a Pussycat who got her claws firmly into this competition and didn’t let go”.
Rylan said: “It is competitive in the kitchen but we’ve genuinely become really good friends”.
The final was contested by Wyatt, X Factor contestant-turned-TV presenter Rylan Clark and CBBC presenter Sam Nixon.
“Kimberly’s food has changed to stuff which is refined, really interesting and very elegant”.
In one of the challenges, the three finalists were tasked with their most daunting feat yet – The Chef’s Table, which involved learning how to cook a dish by Michelin-star chef Angela Hartnett, and serving it to some of the best chefs in the country.
She added: “This has been one of the greatest experiences of my life”.
Ex-EastEnders star Scott Maslen was booted off the show last night after failing to impress the judges.
