DanganRonpa 2 Confirmed For PC, This Is ‘Only The Beginning’ For Spike
The official Steam Store page for Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc has revealed that the game will make its release in February, but has yet to receive a price. And now, its excellent (and better) sequel, DanganRonpa 2: Goodbye Despair will also be getting a PC release soon- Japanese publisher Spike Chunsoft have confirmed that they plan on releasing DanganRonpa 2 on Steam as well.
Chunsoft did not drop any hints as to what could follow, but maybe games like Exist Archive and Zero Escape could be next.
The first game was reported to be heading to steam as early as next month, letting PC players in on the twisted and maniacal games of Monokuma, the series’ cute but evil teddy bear antagonist.
Nearly any explanation of Trigger Happy Havoc is ripe with spoilers, but overall the game is fresh and ‘rather extreme’. Shortly after arriving on campus, all students find themselves trapped and subject to the murderous whims of Monokuma, a remote-controlled teddy bear with a twisted sense of humor. Following its success on the PSP, the Danganronpa series was ported to the PlayStation Vita, and a localized version was released in North America and Europe. He pits the students against each other, promising freedom to anyone who can murder a fellow classmate and get away with it.
