“Based on its observations and findings, the Ministry has chose to constitute a Judicial Commission to review the entire sequence of events and the circumstances and to establish the facts and correctives in the context of the University”, the statement said. JAC, which continued its protest on the campus, wanted to know if Modi will take action against BJP ministers for the injustice meted out to Rohith and other research scholars.
The five students, including Rohith, were barred from staying in the university hostels or gather in the administrative building and other common places in groups till the complete their courses and programmes at the institution.
