Trump boasts he could shoot somebody and still not lose votes
Donald Trump thinks his supporters are so devoted that he could “shoot somebody” on Fifth Avenue without losing any voters.
Trump on Saturday also reprised a line he used against Cruz on Twitter just a day earlier, noting that Cruz “could run for the prime minister of Canada”. It is not a sign of strength when you say that a POW was a loser because they got caught.
And Trump has often cited Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe, who said that although Cruz is generally accepted to be a natural-born citizen, no court has definitively ruled on the question.

The latest Reuters-Ipsos tracking poll had Trump pulling in 40.6 percent support of Republican voters nationally.

Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley was an introductory speaker at Trump’s Pella event.
“If you just look at history, and if you say that Iowa and New Hampshire come together, and Trump’s ahead in SC, that would look to be hard to reverse that overall”, King said.
