Bernie Sanders surges ahead in polls weeks before primary

In a Democratic primary that appears to be tightening, Clinton has sieged on her experience as someone who has a deep understanding of the nuances of foreign policy from her time as the country’s top diplomat.

On Wednesday night, the campaign sent out a fundraising email asking for cash to compete with Sanders on the airwaves in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Fire against Sanders was not the only theme of Clinton’s speech. He pledged to expand benefits by lifting the cap on taxable income. She leads Cruz 47 percent to 41 percent.
