Colorado events aim to raise awareness about school choice

The objective of the week-long celebration is to highlight effective education options for every child, from traditional public schools to private schools like Heritage Christian School in Bakersfield. In some areas of the state, parents can choose the school they think is best, regardless of where it’s located in relation to the household.

“Over the last several years, North Carolina has significantly expanded educational options for children and families in both the public and private sectors”, said Andrew R. Campanella, president of National School Choice Week in the release.

Gov. Deal wants more Georgians to decide for themselves the best education available to their children.

It’s National School Choice Week and more than two thousand events will be held statewide to help parents weigh their options for their child’s education. The Valley School in Medford is halfway through the first year of being open.

Logos Public Charter School in Medford is hosting a celebration on Monday, Jan. 25.

In addition, OH is one of 41 states with a tuition-free online academy, allowing students to go to school entirely online.

Parents who are not happy with their children’s current schools, or would like to explore their options, should use January to consider the alternatives available to them.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y.-(BUSINESS WIRE)-Students, parents, teachers, and community members will celebrate the educational opportunities of Annur Islamic School at an open house beginning at noon on Saturday, January 30.
