Russian national arrested at Sky Harbor in Phoenix woman’s shooting death
A person evaluating going on a good friend on a Phoenix, Ariz., condominium found the horrific picture of blood-splattered barrier and his awesome friend’s self-mutilated body system having theoretically decapitated a female and 2 doggies. Police were trying to verify if the suspect meant the dogs were family or whether there were other human victims.
The scene was discovered by a neighbor who was checking on the woman, whom he hadn’t seen enter or leave the apartment in more than a day.
Reported by police, a 42-year-old male was found at his home with a severed eye and an almost-severed arm, which was hanging by the elbow.
The startled man called the police to 13th Place and Colter Street. Police also found two decapitated dogs in the closet.
Phoenix Police Department Sgt. Trent Crump told the Daily News.
The suspect claimed to have killed three members of his family, but investigators are still determining if he was referring to additional people or the dogs, Crump explained.
The suspect is known to suffer from mental illness, as stated by Crump.
As of Saturday evening, the suspect is in surgery for his injuries and will not be identified by authorities until he booked into jail. His condition remains unknown, and police have not released a motive in the beheading of the woman and slaying of the dogs.
