Paris high schools evacuated after five receive bomb threat
“Searches were carried out at five of the schools but nothing was found”, a police source told L’Express news site.
Six schools in Birmingham, four in London and four in Cornwall had sent pupils home at around 9am. “Bomb_scare_in_Merton__Two_schools_evacuated_by_police/”>had been evacuated from Ricards Lodge High School in Lake Road, Wimbledon.
Police confirmed the schools had been closed because of suspected bomb threats.
Thousands of children were affected as Bristnall Hall Academy, Holly Lodge Foundation High School College of Science, and Oldbury Academy sent pupils home last week. “We would like to thank you for your support during this hard time”.
“The students and employees are evacuated from the school area and police are searching the area”, the West police district said in a press release.
Explaining that there is no credible threat, Assistant Chief Constable Carl Foulkes said: “They mirror the hoaxes several schools received just a few days ago [as reported by Breitbart News]”.
West Midlands police said there was “no credible threat” to schools in the region.
“The schools were evacuated as a precaution while the incidents were looked into”, a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said.
West Midlands Police said they were investigating the calls.

He said: “Detectives are investigating after three Sandwell schools received bomb scare calls this morning”.
