Bush slams Trump at Republican forum
The former Florida governor has embraced the title of being the “anti-Trump” in the race in an effort to coalesce voters around him who also want to knock the real estate titan out of his frontrunner status. Imagine how many late deciders there are in New Hampshire right now who can barely tell the difference between Kasich, Christie, Rubio, and Jeb and are grasping for some way to decide.
Maybe the next thing you wonder is, “What is it like to witness this as one of Jeb’s family members?” Coleman still has good standing among Republican groups where strong USA ties to Israel matter most, but opinion of him is split among rank-and-file Republicans in Minnesota, where his single term as senator ended in 2009.
‘I’m sure my brother is going to be campaigning by my side, ‘ Bush said in Hampton, N.H., according to reports. But Cruz wrote that Karl Rove, a top strategist for George W. Bush, pressured him not to publicize that.
That’s when New Hampshire residents vote and Bush’s precarious campaign finally fizzles out or when he resurfaces as a leading candidate after months of teetering on the brink of irrelevance.
Tom Rath, a veteran Republican strategist in New Hampshire who is advising Kasich’s campaign, said a Trump and his celebrity present a “rather unique case” for the state.
Asked by reporters about the video Thursday, Jeb Bush said, ‘All advertising hopefully accomplishes people moving toward your cause’. “I’m a Bush and I’m proud of it”.
“I think this is a great country where the son of a bartender and a maid can be running for the same office and have the same opportunity as the son of a millionaire”, Rubio said on “Fox News Sunday”. The answer was “no” [underlined three times] as the sacrifice for his family was huge’.
In his own autobiography published previous year, however, Cruz made it clear his views had changed, criticizing Bush for excessive federal spending. “I admit to being prejudiced, as I am his mother”.
But he also conceded that it was somewhat unusual for George W. Bush to openly criticize a fellow Republican. He thinks that’s the way you are going to win the presidency, by tearing everybody apart, tearing them down? Bush, in turn, has called Trump a “jerk” with a propensity for alienating virtually everyone.
The state has just 1.3 million people-among the smallest in the nation, and about half the size of Miami-Dade County, home to Bush and fellow presidential contender Sen. “I don’t know what you’re talking about”.
