IPhone 5se Will Likely Get A9 Processor With M9 Motion Coprocessor
The company which is still selling iPhone 5s devices wants to see more existing iPhone owners move to the newer models and last year introduced a new subscription model that would guarantee subscribers a new iPhone every year.
According to a new report, the iPhone 5se will also borrow fame of the features of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. Well, according to several Apple employees, the new annotation is either “special edition” or an “enhanced” version of the iPhone 5s.
The upcoming iPhone has been previously given many names such as, iPhone 6c, iPhone 7c or the iPhone 5e, 9to5Mac reports that, the next 4-inched iPhone will be apparently called as the iPhone 5se. As it stands now, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are a little more than one-quarter of an inch thick.
An image of the alleged iPhone 5SE has circulated on the Internet right after 9to5Mac’s report giving customers a hint of what the forthcoming device will look like.
It also has Live Photos from the IPhone 6, although its screen will not be pressure-sensitive.
It would appear that Apple will have something new for the budget-conscious, with the device once unofficially known as the iPhone 7c reportedly arriving in March. The iPhone 5se is supposed to be now in production at Apple’s Asian partners. The device may also come in 16GB and 64GB storage options, unlike the 16/32GB variants for the current iPhone 5s.
Apple is expected to discontinue the 5S once the 5SE is announced, so it should end up taking the 5S’s spot in Apple’s lineup, selling for $450. The 4-inch screen (and presumably its 1136×640 resolution) will be retained, but the edges of the phone and the front glass will be curved instead of squared off as they are in the iPhone 5 and 5S. While the internals are quite similar to the 2013 flagship iPhone, there are a few bumps that make this new smartphone a significant upgrade.
There may also be a lot of color options to choose from as the phone might arrive in Silver, as well as the returning Space Gray, Gold, & Rose Gold.
