In Phantom Katrina Kaif will be sharing screen space with Saif Ali Khan. Look after upcoming movie’s first look. Now another Bollywood film is under his direction is readily named as Phantom.
But instead of being realistic, Kabir Khan walks down his beloved blockbuster path. Saif dons Akshay Kumar’s avatar of a terrorist bashing good guy and hams his way through the trailer. His first film Kabul Express revealed the experiences of two journalists in Post-Taliban Afghanistan and latest flick Bajrangi Bhaijaan which has India-Pakistan Background.
After spreading the message of cross border peace and humanity, filmmaker Kabir Khan will be dealing with the subject of terrorism in his next film “Phantom”.
In February this year, the Censor Board had issued a diktat stating that all film publicity posters had to be approved by it before being unveiled. The posters show the actors blindfolded, with the Indian tricolour wrapped over their eyes.
The trailer of Phantom has not even come out and the film is already making news for various reasons. Katrina is teaming up with both Kabir and Saif for second time.
The film is an adaption of S Hussain Zaidi’s recent novel, Mumbai Avengers.
Phantom is co-produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Sajid Nadiadwala and is scheduled to release on 28 August.
