Lenovo launches Vibe X3 in India
The device will go on sale on January 28 at 2PM via an open sale. “We aim to bring in an unparalleled personal entertainment experience through this latest offering.” said Sudhin Mathur, director, smartphones, Lenovo Group. “The Vibe X3 is by far our most powerful and stylish device to have been launched in the Indian market”. Like the K4 Note, the highlight of this phone as per the company would be Lenovo Sound, which offers HD Audio with Dolby Atmos on the dual front speakers as well as on the headphones.
The flagship Lenovo Vibe X3 features a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection from scratches. The handset also comes with supports for 4G LTE connectivity.
The Lenovo Vibe X3 specifications include a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor (dual core A57 at 1.8GHz + quad-core A53 at 1.4GHz) coupled with 3GB of DDR3 RAM and Adreno 418 GPU. In terms of imaging, the Lenovo Vibe X3 offers a 21-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. Its inbuilt storage is 32GB which can be expandable up to 128GB through microSD card. The phone will be available through Amazon for INR 19,999 ($293).
The Lenovo Vibe X3 runs the company’s Vibe UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, which has been tweaked to look similar to stock Android.
Featured with efficient power management, Lenovo Vibe X3 includes low power sensor hub with support for activity and gesture recognition in addition to a low powered modem.
Featured with a PerfectView Display, the Lenovo Vibe X3 is capable of displaying 100% of the colors producible on a professional display.
