Donald Trump vs. Megyn Kelly: The sequel begins
On Saturday, Trump claimed that Kelly was “biased” and said that she should not be allowed to host the network’s next Republican primary debate in Des Moines, Iowa, which is slated just days ahead of the crucial Iowa caucuses on February 1. But the frontrunner thinks Megyn Kelly has a “bias” and that should prevent her from a return as co-moderator. “I’m not a big fan of hers at all”, Trump said. “A nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings”.
Trump has toyed with not attending debates in the past. “Donald Trump is just trying to build up the audience for Thursday’s debate, for which we thank him”. “But I don’t think she can treat me fairly actually”.
The statement was reacting to a new CNN interview in which Trump suggested he would consider not attending the Fox-hosted primary debate on Thursday because Kelly is set to be one of the three moderators.
Trump has had at least a small amount of apparent success, however, after complaining about debate moderators. I like doing the debate. “I’ll take Sarah Palin every single day”, he added, reminding the crowd of his endorsement by the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate.
Fox responded with a statement: “Megyn Kelly has no conflict of interest”. Kelly asked Trump about misogynist and sexist comments he had made in the past, calling women names including “fat pigs” and “slobs”. To stand up at this debate and say as little as possible. “Maybe I know too much about her”.
“Glenn Beck-every time I see him, he’s crying”.
ABC severed its February debate partnership with the Union Leader after Trump relentlessly attacked the New Hampshire newspaper for running a front-page editorial criticising him. In December, he also threatened to boycott the CNN debate unless they donated $5 million to a veterans’ charity for not “treating him properly”.
