The driver of a school bus that lurched forward at an Indianapolis school told police the principal pushed children out of the way before she was struck. The driver wasn’t hurt, nor was any of the 25 students who were on board. Just a phenomenal individual that truly cared about children.
Dr. Smith said, “As superintendent of the schools and a representative of the entire school community, we lost a great educator today”.
Crews towed the bus from the school at Fox and Oaklandon last night.
The school canceled Wednesday’s classes.
