Manning to Belichick: ‘This might be my last rodeo’
It is interesting to consider that almost half of all Super Bowls played since the game’s inception 50 years ago has included as its AFC representative either the Steelers, the Patriots, or, after this season’s rendition, the Broncos. “So, it sure has been a pleasure”, Manning told Belichick after his 20-18 win.
In a January 17 column, Post columnist Mark Kiszla asked Manning is this playoff run felt like his last rodeo.
The rivalry is often framed as “Brady-Manning”, but in reality, it’s probably better described as Belichick-Manning given Peyton’s obsessive tactical preparation and in-game play-calling.
“It kind of happened naturally just because I’ve been with his offense”, Daniels said.
