Quantum Break may be getting a PC version
Gaming has largely been a major focus for the software giant, from bringing in more games to the platform or integrating the Xbox app inside the new operating system for greater connectivity between devices running Windows 10.
The Xbox One exclusive is scheduled for release on April 5 this year, and has yet to be rated by the American-based Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB).
On January 25, Brazil’s Ministério da Justiça filed two separate reports for the game, both of which were subsequently unearthed by Gematsu.
Quantum Break has been rated for PC in Brazil, which has lead to the belief that Microsoft is doing with this exclusive what it has done with nearly most of its other ones.
Whether this is an erroneous listing or a legitimate rating for Quantum Break’s PC version remains to be seen.
Quantum Break is the next project by the makers of Max Payne and Alan Wake, exclusively for Microsoft’s console.
During the time of writing this article, the rating has been removed from the website. The game has been developed by Remedy Entertainment while Microsoft Studios is the publisher. Quantum Break has always seemed like the prime candidate to make the jump- Remedy’s previous games all eventually managed to release on PC, after all, and there is no reason to believe that it would be different this time.
