SC toddler’s evening prayer caught on baby monitor
SC parents Kathryn and Caleb Whitt have been teaching their 2-year-old daughter Sutton to say her bedtime prayers.
After her parents put her to sleep, they said they heard something coming from her room.
The toddler’s prayer goes on for about two minutes as she does thank everyone, including grandparents, friends, aunts, uncles, her parents, and adorably, even Santa Claus. And, then Sutton concluded with a big Amen.
Kathryn shared the video on her Facebook page on Sunday and it has already been seen over 329,000 times. They soon noticed Sutton reciting her own prayer over the baby monitor.
“She’s impacted so many people at such a young age in the name of Jesus”, Kathryn said.
“Matthew 18:3 “‘Truly I tell you, ‘ He said, ‘unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven'”.
Sutton was in her crib, reciting her prayers all by herself.
“We started hearing noises upstairs”, said Kathryn Whitt, a preschool teacher. At first, Kathryn Whitt debated whether to post the video, but once she did she was overwhelmed by the positive responses.
Along with more than 1.3 million video views, the Whitts have also been interviewed by most of the major television networks.
