‘Airlift’ tax free in Uttar Pradesh
Cinekorn Entertainment has acquired the Asian distribution rights of Akshay Kumar’s new film Airlift from B4U Television, which is the official worldwide distributor of the film.
“I am hopeful that after this film lot of producers, directors and actors will like to be part of this kind of cinema, that is less of songs and more of content”, he said. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the box office collection.
Many Bollywood celebrities like Rishi Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Hansal Mehta, Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat have given a thumbs up to the film while sharing their reviews on the micro-blogging site.
According to a report from iFlicks, the Hindi actor, who is basking in the success of his latest release Airlift, is all praise for the Enthiran star.
Raja Krishna Menon’s directorial recently released war thriller film “Airlift” is doing fabulously well at box office in India as well as in overseas.
Akshay just took to Twitter and thanked the UP government for appreciating his film by making it go tax free in the state.
“I love working with Lara. It will be great if it happens”, he added.
“Airlift” also stars Nimrat Kaur and Purab Kohli in key roles.
“The fact that it is a real story and very few people knew about it…we brought this story to all…That is the USP”, Akshay said.
