Clinton trails top Republicans in battleground states
If this news doesn’t have Joe Biden, Al Gore, or Elizabeth Warren seriously considering entering the presidential race – and serious Democrats urging them to do so – then nothing will. as said by a Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll, Hillary Clinton trails Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, and Scott Walker in Colorado, Iowa and Virginia. Their data shows Clinton ranks behind three GOP candidates, Senator Mark Rubio, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.
She has lost ground in the race and on key questions about her honesty and leadership, he said.
“‘Do Colorado voters trust Hillary?”
As for The Donald, the Quinnipiac survey shows him with the worst fav/unfav of any candidate: 31/58 percent in Colorado; 32/57 in Iowa, and 32/61 in Virginia. In those states, Trump is seen unfavorably by an nearly 2-1 margin by the voters in those three states. “You’re not going to move the Republican numbers on Hillary Clinton as trustworthy”. The poll asked registered voters in each state to say whether they felt favorable or unfavorable towards the various presidential contenders on both sides.
The poll, from Quinnipiac University, surveyed voters in Colorado, Iowa and Virginia.
Hillary Clinton remains head and shoulders above her legitimate challengers and would thump Bill Clinton in a head-to-head contest if the constitution were amended to allow him to run for a third term.
“I think she’ll turn it around and hopefully she’ll get her message out”, said Deanna Ferguson, of Des Moines.
Clinton performs best in Virginia but continues to lag behind Bush 39 percent to 42 percent, Rubio 41 percent to 43 percent, and Walker 40 percent to 43 percent. In all three states, her favorability ratings are equal to or a few points shy of the Republican frontrunners. And in Virginia, Clinton did best, at 39 percent saying they trust her to 55 percent saying they don’t.
“It’s not a one-off, it is something that they should be anxious about”, said Sheinkopf, referring to the most recent polling results. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
Brown said Trump “stands out for the wrong reason” among the 17 candidates for the Republican presidential nomination.
In the Time interview, the two ex-presidents weighed in the 2016 election – in which it is possible Clinton’s wife, Hillary, could face Bush’s brother, Jeb.
“In a general election trial heat, Clinton leads Bush, the GOP fundraising leader, by a slight 50-44 percent among registered voters”, ABC News reported.
