Will Super Bowl ticket prices set a record?

Newton’s counterpart in Super Bowl 50, Broncos’ quarterback Peyton Manning, was 6,000-60 player entering Super Bowl 48 two years ago: 6,107 yards and 59 touchdowns passing (including two postseason games) and minus-31 yards with one touchdown rushing. The Carolina Panthers, who made it to Super Bowl wearing all white, will wear black jerseys when they face the Denver Broncos for the Lombardi Trophy.

The Panthers have reached this point with prolific performances in the regular season and in playoff victories over the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals. Rivera credits the linebacker’s conviction in the game and that it is the very reason why he’s a highly touted player today.

The Panthers led by charismatic quarterback Cam Newton are enjoying the ride.

The Panthers would prove doubters wrong, winning 14 straight games to open the season before suffering their only loss at Atlanta. “We’re going to live in the moment right now”.

“If it all goes well, it should be something he will be able to play with”, Rivera said about the longest-tenured member of the Panthers, who has already shown his grit and resolve to battle back from injury.

The Broncos’ offense on the other hand is not near as strong as their defensive counterparts.

Newton typically does the move after the Panthers scores a touchdown. This will be Manning’s fourth Super Bowl appearance; some fans believe this will probably be his last.

“We’ve been doubted. We’ve been slated; all of the above, but yet when you have turnouts like (Sunday) it makes it all worthwhile”, Newton said after the win against the Cardinals.

“I don’t know that we’ve faced a dual-threat guy like him this year with our schedule”, Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak said. Both of Denver’s playoff games have come down to the wire, and the team has narrowly escaped defeat on several occasions this season.

For the NFC Championship game, the guest of honor was Panthers owner Jerry Richardson.

“After the punt fumble, we get the pick and then we throw a pick”. Now it’ll be Rivera’s Panthers against Manning’s Colts in Super Bowl 50.
