Even warmer weather on the way
Those winds stay strong into Saturday as we head into the mid 70s with mostly sunny skies. A noon-time cold front passage quickly followed by a shortwave disturbance above it will kick off some sort of precipitation this afternoon. Temperatures may be held to the low to mid 40s due to cloud cover.
As this cold front moves out to sea, cooler air will filter in behind it so our highs today will only top out in the lower to middle 40s at best. The Weather Channel thinks that is sufficiently warm that any precipitation will fall as rain.
Thursday evening will offer cloudy skies and a low of 27 degrees in Springfield and Worcester, 32 in Boston and 25 in Pittsfield.
Seasonable weather will stick around tomorrow when we will again see a high in the upper 30s.
Today: Sunny and mild with a high near 62°.
Sunday will bring a chance of rain, and temperatures will be a few degrees warmer, as Chicago could see a high around 50, and some areas could a few degrees warmer.
By Monday, we are going to push to near 50 with a rain shower or two later in the day.
