Gina Rodriguez Offers Golden Globes Dress to Fan for Prom

Another fan tweeted at Rodriguez suggesting she start a “Sisterhood of the Traveling Gina Golden Globes Dress”, an idea the actress was already playing with.

Not only did the dress land Rodriguez on several “best dressed” lists when she wore it, but the star was also wearing the dress on the day that she won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a comedy series.

“So would love to wear your golden globes dress to prom”, Jessica Casanova tweeted at the actress.

Jessica, a fan of Gina’s, did what we all do: Reached out to her hero on Twitter in hopes of a fave or even a response. She later tweeted that she was reaching out to Casanova to talk about next steps.

To anyone out there who happens to go to high school with one Jessica Casanova, you can go ahead and stop trying to find the flawless prom dress. Gina replied saying that she didn’t own the Zac Posen gown that she wore to the 2016 awards, but that she could wear her 2015 Golden Globes dress. “She is so kind-hearted and a great role model to me and she truly made my dreams come true”.

Looks like prom dreams can come true.

“It would be an honor to wear it, it’s handsome”, Casanova responded.
