Chiefs tight end Kelce signs five-year contract extension
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, $20.5 million of his five-year, $46 million deal will be guaranteed.
Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs is a beast on the field, and now he is taking his talents to the reality television world.
Kelce is now in Hawaii preparing with Team Rice to take on Derrick Johnson and Team Irvin in the Pro Bowl on Sunday night. They did not disclose contract terms. “Travis is a high-character guy and a leader”. “It’s hard to bring this back to reality”.
Over the course of two seasons with the Chiefs, he has had 139 receptions for 1,737 yards and 10 touchdowns.
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound Kelce has played in 33 games (27 starts) in three National Football League seasons with the Chiefs.
The Chiefs announced Friday that they have reached agreement on a contract extension with their 2013 third-round pick. The eight episodes of “Catching Kelce” will run on E! later this year.
Now all the Kansas City Chiefs need to do is get Kelce a solid backup tight end that can help tear defenses apart. “It really does, and with all of this comes a lot of responsibility, and right now, I’m more motivated than ever to go out there and be a dominant performer for the Chiefs for many years to come”.
Kelce will make his awkward first dates available for the eyes of a national audience when he stars in the new E! series Catching Kelce.
“I don’t even want to get into any of that at this point”.
