‘Gilmore Girls’ to be revived by Netflix

Netflix confirms that ig is bringing back the Gilmour Girls. Unlike the rumors that swirled in October, however, neither the show’s official title nor its episode count have been determined.

While Netflix is still mum about the show’s premiere date and number episodes, TVLine said the series will run for a limited time, showcasing four 90-minute episodes. The duo will be in charge of writing and directing the new “Gilmore Girls”, which will serve as the final season.

Aside from Graham, Netflix has also confirmed that series regulars Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson and Kelly Bishop will be returning for the revival, along with Sean Gunn and Keiko Agena. It remains unclear who among the original cast are returning, apart from those already mentioned. Television and Dorothy Parker Drank Here Productions.

Netflix officially confirmed the highly anticipated “Gilmore Girls” comeback, planning a new miniseries to take us back to the quirky, close-knit community of Stars Hollow.

The revival will also introduce new characters, reports NY Daily News, including a handyman named Alejandro and his wife Berta, as well as love interest Paul and a magazine editor called Jim. Lane and Zack’s 9-year-old Korean-American twins Stevie and Kwan will also appear, giving us a time frame for how much time has passed since the season finale in 2007 (the twins were infants at the time). Only Melissa McCarthy, who played chef Sookie and has since become a huge movie star, has not been announced as returning (she hasn’t been announced as not returning either). But more than anything, we just cant believe it. All of the things that had to happen for this to happen.
