Panthers owner paying for staff to go to Super Bowl 50
Most of the public will probably be rooting for Manning to finish his career by bringing home another Super Bowl title to Denver, but Carolina is simply the better team.
The 1972 Miami Dolphins are the only team to go an entire season unbeaten, finishing 17-0 when the National Football League played a 14-game schedule.
When Super Bowl 50 happens on February 7th, the two teams playing against each other will be the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers. The team posed for group sideline pictures in the final minutes of their 49-15 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship game last Sunday.
Against Newton, the Broncos will have to be conscious of the Panthers’ quarterback’s mobility.
“You can’t rush timid, because if you do that, he’s one of those pocket quarterbacks that can get the ball deep down the field”, said Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware.
That would be against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos in two weeks.
This is not the first time that “the big cat” has rewarded his employees. In this last weekend’s game against the Cardinals the Panthers ability to get pressure on Carson Palmer led the quarterback to throw four interceptions and lose two fumbles. “Some of my experiences in coaching have shown me that when you get into certain situations like the playoffs, there can be a little self-doubt where you think, ‘Did I do enough?”
Carolina’s offense will be the deciding factor as the Panthers win their first ever Super Bowl. “We knew we had to come out firing and had to come out and just out-execute them and make plays in the second half”.
Gary Kubiak didn’t win the Super Bowl as a player, but he did advance to three of them as John Elway’s backup and was on the winning side of three as an assistant with the 49ers and Broncos.
And the fifth-year coach doesn’t want any of his players to be happy with just the moment.
Expect more dancing, dabbing and pure merriment from the Panthers during Super Bowl week – much to the haters’ chagrin.
