Bethesda Hosting Another E3 Showcase in 2016
Bethesda has announced that it will be holding a showcase at this year’s E3 in Los Angeles. The result of that conference was the bombshell announcement of of Fallout 4 set to release the same year. Usually, the game developer releases a new TES every 4 years, but the release of The Elder Scrolls 6 is still a mystery because fans haven’t heard much about the game until recently.
When a fan asked a question on the Fallout Twitter account about MODS for this game on consoles, one of the Bethesda’s officials replied, saying that they’re planning to add seamless MODS to the game and make it accessible by all gamers across all platforms.
E3 is just over five months away, and we’ll know then what Bethesda has in store for us. Fans speculate, however, that the content is ready and that Bethesda Softworks is simply waiting for their scheduled event to properly announce the DLC to the public. We got a reveal at last year’s E3, so expect to see a release date announced at this year’s event. If DOOM is going to already be out, there could be some news about DLC as well.
“We’re doing it”, game director Todd Howard said during Fallout’s Red Carpet Event, when asked about post-launch plans and DLC.
It is likely that this means there are DLC packs in development but are not yet ready for an official launch just yet.
Bethesda is offering a Season Pass for the players at the price of 30 dollars, which will grant access to all Fallout 4 DLCs that will be released for this game.
The report also points out that the last major release from Bethesda, “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim”, did see at least three DLC expansions before support was ended.
