The ‘Gilmore Girls’ Netflix Revival Table Read Has Already Happened
It’s back to Stars Hollow for “Gilmore Girls” fans as Netflix finally confirmed the mother and daughter BFFs are returning to the small screen.
The CW series wrapped in 2007 after seven seasons and 154 episodes, all of them are available on Netflix, but rumors began to circulate a year ago about a potential revival on Netflix.
Graham starred as Lorelai Gilmore on the WB series from 2000 to 2007.
Netflix ordered a continuation of the 1990s ABC series “Full House” with a new title, “Fuller House” in April.
Get your coffee IV ready – a “Gilmore Girls” revival is now officially in the works at Netflix.
Graham later followed up with her own photo and social media post celebrating the news, sharing on Twitter a snap of her clutching one of Lorelai’s signature fabulous winter coats.
TV Line has earlier reported that the revival will have a total of four episodes.
While cast announcements have not yet been made, it is also expected that stars Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson will be returning.

Berta and Alejandro, a Peruvian couple, are among the new characters viewers will be able to meet. The photos showed Miss Patty’s dance studio receiving a fresh coat of paint, along with the revived appearance of some Gilmore Girls-related props. I’ve also got my fingers crossed for Liza Weil. That initial report revealed that the streaming service plans on bringing all of the original cast members back, and now several of the stars have been confirmed. The show has also returned into the hands of original creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and husband Daniel Palladino, who will both serve as executive producers, writers, and directors of the revival.
Though many other actors from the original are expected to return, Melissa McCarthy (Sookie St. James) is unlikely to be one of them.
