Everton show Niasse interest
Everton have apparently had a £13.5m bid for striker Oumar Niasse accepted by Lokomotiv Moscow.
He has agreed a four-and-a-half year deal with the Toffees and could make his debut against Stoke this weekend.
The move becomes the most expensive in Europe during the current transfer window.
Niasse has 12 goals in 21 games this season and could forge a lethal strike partnership with Romelu Lukaku, although The Sun suggest he is being bought as a replacement for the Belgian, who could leave in the summer.
Lukaku has been linked with a big-money move away from the club at the end of the season, having scored an impressive 15 league goals in his 15 appearances, with Manchester United tipped as one of the clubs chasing his signature.
Former Stoke and Senegal player Ibrahima Sonko has admitted he paid for the plane ticket for Everton target Oumar Niasse to get his big break in Europe.
“I started to watch Everton more since the beginning of October because I had heard about their interest”.
“The manager has said exactly what he wants. You can see also that he is a good person and I am really looking forward to playing for my new team”. He has had a lot of success in Russian Federation and he brings a different quality to what we already have in our squad.
