Black History Month 2016 kicks off in US
The Black History Month Sale and Display is going on all month at the Just Goods Fair Trade Store on 7th Street.
In recognition of Black History Month we celebrate the accomplishments of Canadians throughout history.
“Florida State University’s Black Student Union and the entire university community will come together to celebrate Black History Month during the month of February with the theme “#BlackatFSU: “The Road to Resilience”.
Meanwhile, white history is always taught to children in the USA of all races as “world travelers, inventors, and American presidents like Christopher Columbus, Ben Franklin and George Washington”, King said.

If our seventh-grade teachers fail to provide the dirty details of American history, what incentives do many of us have to dig deeper once we enter college? Black history is certainly American history in spite of a history that has been harsh and bitter to such people.
