Donald Trump wants to convince voters that he’s a real Christian
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks to guests during a campaign rally at the Gerald W. Kirn Middle School on January 31, 2016 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Trump was accompanied by his wife, Melania, and two of his staffers.
Donald Trump has increased the wager on his presidential campaign by investing his own money for the first time into his national organization, NBC News reported. Bernie Sanders’ (I-Vermont) voting blocks, Ralph Reed, chairman of the Faith & Freedom Coalition, told The Register: “I think they’re coming”.
“As Trump was leaving, one of the church pastors put his hand on Trump’s shoulder and offered a prayer, ‘That Jesus would guide his decisions and that only Christ could guide his decisions, ‘ the pastor later said”.
“I agree”, She said.
At a later event in Council Bluffs, Trump sat down with Jerry Falwell Jr., president of Liberty University, for an “interview” instead of giving a speech.
Donald Trump is continuing his efforts to woo the evangelical vote, releasing a video in which he holds up a Bible and promises his evangelical supporters that he will “never let you down”.
Trump told the crowd that if he is the Republican nominee, he could win states that other Republicans cannot win in a general election.
“I want to thank the evangelicals”, Trump says in the video.
After proving he can win a state, Madden said it might be too late for a wave of attacks from his fellow candidates to knock him down. “In fact, it’s her writing, right here”, he said opening to a page near the front of the Holy book.
