Angelina Jolie Recovers from Chickenpox and Enjoys Time with Kids
The ‘Unbroken’ star was snapped by paparazzi while she was hanging out with her daughters, Zahara , 9, and Shiloh, 8, in Los Angeles.
The mother of six definitely resurfaced stylishly on Sunday afternoon and looked in good spirits. This is her first public appearance post her recovery from chicken pox. Jolie and her daughters indulged in some retail therapy at M. Fredric. The trio later proceeded for a quick grub stop at the In-N-Out drive-thru for some burgers and fries.
The Academy Award winning actress looked chic in an all-black outfit with black jeans, blazer, and boots. She accessorized the ensemble with a matching black leather shoulder bag. Jolie was finally free of the itchy red spots that she had from the mild bout of chickenpox.
Earlier this month, Jolie was forced to skip a series of ‘Unbroken’ premieres due to the unfortunate illness. Jolie, 39, is making her second directorial effort with ‘Unbroken’, her debut being “In The Land of Blood and Honey”. ‘Unbroken’ is the story of World War II prisoner of war and former Olympic runner Louis “Louie” Zamperini.
Jolie’s husband Brad Pitt and her children attended the event on Angie’s behalf. The actress who reportedly fought hard to bag ‘Unbroken’ and dedicated two years to the making of the film, felt saddened by the fact that “chicken pox” snatched away her chance to be there with Louis’s family, Phil’s (Phillips, one of Louie’s fellow airmen) daughter, Karen, veterans, and all the guests.
She had earlier posted a video on YouTube, showing her pox marks, “I will be home, itching and missing everyone and I can’t believe it because this film means so much to me”. There has been a lot of Oscar buzz for Jolie’s ‘Unbroken’.
Wishing Angie a great success for her movie that means a lot to her!
