Super Bowl ads this year might be a snooze
It features the biggest collection of Super Bowl Babies: fans born in Super Bowl winning cities approximately nine months after the game.
The NFL released an advertisement to commemorate past Super Bowl championship cities.
Seal himself also makes an appearance in the ad.
The lead up to Super Bowl 50 this weekend is no exception, with ads featuring Ryan Reynolds, Seth Rogen, Amy Schumer and Alan Rickman, the beloved “Harry Potter” icon who passed away last month after a battle with cancer. In all, Super Bowl babies from eight champion teams were recruited.
Super Bowl babies included in the video span several decades, from 1967, when the Green Bay Packers triumphed, to 2014, when the Seattle Seahawks won. “An event like this brings so many people together and to have a song I wrote 25 years ago still be so loved is very special for me”.
“Bottom line: When one looks at the cost of a Super Bowl ad based on cost per thousand impressions, it’s actually not bad at all”.
Seal is part of the video a different points, finishing with, “Now Super Bowl 50 is here”. “Since it was Super Bowl 50, we also charged our ad firm (Grey New York) to help us look back a little bit while having an optimistic look forward to the future”.
